Just who is this freak anyway?
so let me give you the basics then
NAME - Greg Sharp
AGE - 26 (27 at end of September)
LOCATION - UK, near London and gatwick
IN MY OWN WORDS.....
For a long time I've wanted to draw, I spent hours as a child with all kinds of pencils and markers and all that kind of thing, and after spending years I learn the most important lesson I could ever learn about me and my drawing skills.....
I had none
so I gave up, resorted to drawing stupid things in bad perspective only when needed. Stick figures became a staple in this artistic void. A while ago i was using these poorly drawn images to portray crude and offensive ideas, the main humour coming from the fact that they looked like the sort of thing a 5yr old child would do, but contained adult themed content. One evening I sent a few doodles I did in paint to a friend over MSN and she found them funny, so I guess you can blame Sammi for this! Anyway I carried on, producing about 10 images, which slowly got worse and worse in theme, and slighty more complex in design. the end results are now here, making up the first few pages of the archive. I sent them to other friends, got the people at work to have a look at them, some prompted a response of disgust, some got laughs, some caused the viewer to call me sick, but they got a response. Another friend suggested I put them up as a comic, which I did on my own server space for a while, but that was manually updated, and I needed the space to host my other site so as a huge enthusiast of online comics, I turned to keenspace, and they actually let me have a site, which you would know about, being on it now and all :p
"Greg sez" is all about me purging an urge to be creative in a visual sense, I do write short stories, and I'm working on a novel. I'm also a musician and a sound engineer in my spare time. I have a full time job for a geophysics company.
